Stephanie DeLay Edmiston
Stephanie DeLay Edmiston is the former President & CEO of Ocean Marketing Group. Her career includes work as Executive Vice President for Provenance Development Group, Public Affairs Manager for the Port of Caddo-Bossier, Executive Director of the Bossier City-Parish Metropolitan Planning Commission, Vice President of Community Development for Sci-Port Discovery Center, Director of Communications for the Shreveport Mayor’s Office, Director of Riverfront Marketing & Development for the City of Shreveport, Director of Marketing and Development for the Shreveport Downtown Development Authority, and Marketing Director for Pierre Bossier Mall.
Her community involvement includes former service as the Chairman of the CHRISTUS Health Northern Louisiana Regional Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Sci-Port Discovery Center Board of Directors. She has also served on the SB Magazine Editorial Board, the Better Business Bureau Board of Directors, the Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourist Bureau Board of Directors, the Commission for Women of Bossier City, the Red River Revel Board of Directors, the Bossier Rotary Club Board of Directors, and as North Louisiana Section Director for the American Planning Association. In addition, she served as a charter member and the first Grand Ball Chairman for the Krewe of Gemini.
Edmiston is a Louisiana State University honor graduate where she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis on Marketing and Economics. She is also a graduate of the LSU Local Government Management Program, the iTeach LOUISIANA Certification Program, Leadership Shreveport-Bossier, and the Public Relations Society of America Public Relations Institute.
She is a recipient of the national “Best Mall Promotion of the Year” Award from CBL & Associates and has been honored as both a Bossier Chamber of Commerce and Shreveport Chamber of Commerce Athena Award finalist. Edmiston is a motivational speaker, free-lance business writer, and guest lecturer on marketing and planning strategies for small businesses and agencies. Her works have been published in The Baton Rouge Business Report, The Morning Advocate, The State Times, Shreveport Magazine, Upstate, The Commerce, Shreveport Business, NWLA Business Monthly, and SB Magazine.
